Hello everyone, I messed up and stole under 100 dollars worth of stuff and got caught. I’m in my fourth year of college on my last semester and I’m really scared and unsure on what to do. I’ve completed a deferred adjudication for this charge and it was dismissed about a month ago. I’ve only talked to a criminal defense attorney and they told me that it can be expunged however, I’m not sure how long I should wait and how can I show my growth since then. I’m currently applying to volunteer work to help the community out. I need some help regarding what the average cost for this process is usually like and will I be able to work in medical field with this on my background. Any advice or previous experience is appreciated.
This is also my first time offence.
