I sweat a shitton, especially in hot weather. I’m currently using a roll on anti-perspirant, but I end up sweating anyway, no matter how much I apply, so I’m not sure if it’s any use. Crystal deodorant is usually recommended to people who don’t sweat that much, but if I’m going to have sweat stains anyway, it might be a better option.
There’s also the yellow permanent pitstains in my shirts. It’s gotten to a point where I have accepted I just need to replace all my shirts every year. I always end up getting these stains, and there’s no getting rid of them.
I used to have bad BO, I’m not sure right now but I think it’s better (from replacing my old shirts and now always using cologne, and roll on deodorant instead of spray on).

Deodorant doesn’t have any antiperspirant, so you’ll sweat as much as not wearing antiperspirant. If you feel like your sweating is excessive, you can talk to your doctor about Botox for your underarms. My friend got it and it was life changing for her.
I’ve sworn off all anti-perspirant and just do deodorant now. Sweating is natural. At least I smell good!
Get Certain-Dri. You put it on at night, and then you wear your regular antiperspirant/deodorant during the day.
It helps you to not sweat as much. It can sting when you use it, and you don’t put it on daily – the instructions will tell you what to do.
It takes a little bit to start working, but was a game changer for me when I struggled with the same thing.
P.s. to your question, no, do not get the crystal thing.
I have hyperhydrosis, and have to have prescription deodorant. It works, but gets itchy. I used to have to change my shirt a few times a day and about twice at night. As I got older (39 now) the sweating has calmed down a lot.
I find that when I eat really clean—no processed foods at all—for a period of time, body odor is reduced. Also, masking odors actually exacerbates them eventually. I limit the use of deodorants to only when needed and don’t use antiperspirants at all. Sweating is indeed natural and important in eliminating wastes. I only use crystal deodorant when needed.
I use both an antiperspirant crystal and a deodorant. I still sweat but it’s far more manageable. I use the crystal with water, let it dry, put on deodorant, let that dry, and then put on a t-shirt, and perfume for good measure, lol.
I swear by this stuff… Use exactly as directed and you won’t have that issue.
It sounds like you need to see a doctor. There are medical treatments for hyperhydrosis. They can do prescription medications, botox injections, surgery. You could benefit from talking to a physician.
