25F My boyfriend had a secret NSFW Reddit account with a female avatar from a game — he says he deleted it but I still feel uneasy

Some time ago, I saw a suspicious Reddit account open on my boyfriend’s device — it had a female avatar (from some game or fandom) and a username I remembered. Later, I searched for it and found it. The account was NSFW, with some regular drawings that made me realize it was his, but most posts were deleted. There were some comments left (I didn’t look at them because I was honestly scared of what I might find).

When I asked him about it, he first denied it was his, then said it was just some other account of his. When I figured out it was NSFW, he admitted to drawing and watching hentai.

He said it was his “outlet” and that he deleted the account because he no longer needed it. However, when I asked him to show me what he drew, he said he wasn’t sure if he wanted to and maybe someday.

It doesn’t seem like he communicated with others through it, more like a solo account, but I can’t be sure. I’m confused that he hid it, denied it, and still isn’t fully open.

I don’t mind the hentai or drawing itself — what bothers me is the feeling that I don’t know everything. Should I insist he shows me everything, or should I let it go if he says it’s over? Has anyone had a similar experience?
