About 11 years ago I decided it was time for me to upgrade “the gals” after years and years of breastfeeding children. I shopped around for a surgeon until I found one whose style was more of the natural look I was going for. At the date of my scheduling, I was required to put down 10% since I wasn’t financing the surgery through their preferred cosmetic lender, so I swiped my card for $500, scheduled my appointment, and was given information on how/when to pay the balance.
Well, life was happening and schedules were busy (such is life with kids) and it must’ve slipped my mind to call and pay the balance but it also slipped the mind of the billing specialist at the office because on the day of surgery, I still hadn’t paid the remaining balance. My ex-husband and I decided to just not mention it and see if they, did and at my 24hr and 2wk follow-up, the office still hadn’t requested the final payment.
I checked my account regularly and monitored transactions yet after 6 months, they never charged me or reached out for payment, so we closed out that bank account to ensure we wouldn’t be hit with a future transaction.
I took my kids to Disney World with the extra money.
After 11yrs I’ve never been contacted and am still enjoying life with “the gals”.

Women in tech! Love the at for you~
This is awesome good for you!
I wish you and the gals all the best!
Well if you ever need a reduction all you need to do is let them know of the discrepancy and tell em to come and get em lol.
You could have gotten 10 tits.
Same thing happened to me with my wedding stuff. Only paid for the cake stand tried to pay for the cake months later since they never cashed my check and they were closed. Same with my flowers (which was their fault and forgot about my wedding) but never charged me even though the flowers were amazing and I was never mad at them.
Sweet! I know someone who got plastic surgery done and the office never charged his card either. It was during/after Covid time. He kept waiting and waiting for the charge to hit, but it never did.
Mam how does it feel to be one of the chosen ones?
You’re definitely free and clear, the statute of limitations would’ve been something like six years or less, so they definitely missed the time to sue anyway.
We got two free desks about 40 years ago kind of the same way. We had an account with a furniture rent to own company. About three months before the account was to be paid in full we got two new matching desks for our new home office. The desks were never added and the account was paid in full as scheduled. We still have our “free” desks.
Brings new meaning to “free” the nipple.
Doctors hate this 1 little trick!
We got free tires because the place forgot to charge us. Obviously, it was significantly cheaper than this, but I kept waiting for that charge to hit and nada. It’s been about 6 months, so I think we are in the clear.
Hm, OP you might want to low key check with the actual lender you went with? If you financed it the doctor got paid..so it makes sense they wouldn’t bug you about it. There’s a chance your balance was trying to be serviced by the lender and has gone to collections which may be an unwelcome surprise someday.
We had a guy last year do some gutters or the fascia…it was something like $500. Hubs gave him half in cash, and told him he’d have the rest in a few days. Waited and waited for him to come get it. A month later sent him a text reminding him and he was working somewhere out of town and said he’d come around and get it. Never did. Been over a year now.
Lord, I see what you have done for others…
Same thing happened with my wisdom teeth. They put me down for getting two removed, and the oral surgeon said I could decide on the day of it I wanted all four out. I had him take all four out, but they never updated the records, so I never paid for the other two extractions.
Next time I went to my dentist they had to take x-rays to confirm I wasn’t crazy since all the paperwork said I only had two teeth removed.
Imagine if your job was being the titty repo person. Excuse me ma’am, we are gonna have to take those back with us lol. You can do this the easy way and come with us, or we are gonna have to cut them out right here. Hahaha
Same thing happened with an expensive hotel stay with my husband on vacation! We got a free stay this was in 2021 and still haven’t been charged to this day! They only took our card to reserve and keep on hold for damages but never charged us for our stay. Guess stuff like that happens!
I find a lot of small businesses (including doctors) are clueless about bookeeping, records, and collections. Part of the reason so many small businesses go under.
Years ago my parents bought a big sectional sofa from a bougie furniture store and paid for it with a check from their money market account. The store never cashed the check. My rule follower mom wanted to call the store to confess but my dad talked her out of it by donating 10% of the amount to our church when they rolled the money over into another account.
You’re making me feel less bad about the plumber who fixed my toilet and said to call the office for payment. I lost the paper so I called and said I owed them money but wasn’t sure how much. They also said they couldn’t find my invoice and would call me back. They never did so I never paid.
Nice!!!!!
I ordered a TV online and they delivered 2 TVs, with 2 separate order numbers, but they only charged me once.
Had them come and get the one delivered in error and they treaded it as a return and refunded my money.
Called several times to fix it but they never did….figured if it didn’t bother them then I wasn’t gonna let it bother me 🤷🏾♂️
Score!
Careful. It might be a booby trap.
My parents live at the beach and they had a hurricane back in the 90s. Their house wasn’t damaged but many were. The whole town was evacuated for some time due to unsafe drinking water or something. When my parents came back someone had redone all of their bathrooms. There was so much construction going on no one really noticed. Someone must have written the wrong address and they got 3 free bathroom remodels out of it lol
A few years ago, I ordered a coat and 2 bags from a big store online. Package arrived with coat and only 1 bag. After reporting it and them going thru some sort of internal investigation to find the outstanding bag, they said they couldn’t find it and it was sold out, so they were going to refund that bag. Only they refunded the entire transaction. So I got a $600 cashmere coat and a designer bag for free. Obviously I can never ever shop there again, but god do I love my cashmere coat every winter 🧥
They usually need to be redone, no? Better not go back to the same guy.
Nothing is more fucked up than medical billing. While dealing with my father’s estate, I called all of his providers to request itemized bills which I fully intended to pay. Not a one of them could validate any kind of service beyond just the basic office visit charge so I gave up .
Nice, now remember you have to replace the “gals” every 10 years or so. Hope you saved money for the next round.
-a husband ! Congrats 😂🫣
A similar thing happened to me at a plastic surgeon’s office. Not as high value, but I was in having some unsightly moles removed from my face. Afterwards, right as I walked up to the reception to pay the $1000 + $70 for the special scar gel, a powercut hit the whole street. Since they couldn’t process my transaction, they noted down my card details and said they would charge me later once power was back up.
It’s been 5 years and never got charged, lol. I’ve since left Canada and closed that credit card anyway.
When I bought my house 15 years ago I had to buy new appliances for it – washer and dryer, refrigerator, and an oven. I went to Home Depot and picked everything out. The salesman said if I opened a Home Depot credit card I could get 10% off the total purchase so I said yes. Then when opening the card he said, “oh, you were only approved for $2000. That’s ok, I’ll just push the whole amount through anyway.” Fast forward to 6 months later and I realize that I never received the new credit card or any type of a bill for my appliances. I frantically called Home Depot, imagining that I’d probably been sent to collections. After a lot of researching they determined that when the salesman tried to push the total amount through, which was around $10,000, the transaction was declined. I asked what had happened to the amount that I owed and the person I was speaking to said it had been written off and there was a zero balance. And that’s the story of how Home Depot gave me new appliances as a housewarming gift.
Sounds like the gals also found you a husband upgrade.
This happened to me — with my involuntary mental hospital stay. 😄 I had insurance but it was like a $2,000 bill after the bulk of it was covered haha
We had our kitchen done a few months ago. I’m talking down to the studs redo. I ordered a Thor 6 burner gas stove online from one of the big chain home improvement stores. Great stove by the way. The night before the scheduled delivery I go online to check if it is on schedule. Status says delayed. I didn’t receive any emails, texts, or calls to say it is delayed. I call the company to find out what is going on. I tell him that I was never informed about the delay and that I had the contractor scheduled to be there to do the install. He looks up the order and sees it’s been delayed twice (only once as far as I know). Gives me new delivery date for the following week. He also says he is giving me a 10% refund for my troubles (I never ask for anything). On a $3,500 stove that is $350 so I thank him. He says when the stove is delivered to just call and they will apply the refund. Sent me an email to verify everything. A week after delivery I respond to his email instead of calling to let him know that it was delivered. A week goes by with no response and no credit. I send a follow up email asking about the credit. Two days later I receive an email stating that they are in receipt of my return and that a credit for the entire purchase has been issued. I go WTF. I check my credit card account and sure enough there is a credit for $3,500. I don’t know if it was an honest mistake on their part or if he was really pissed at the company and I don’t care. I got a $3,500 stove for free.
Several years ago, I worked in the billing office of a fertility clinic. Most insurance covered treatment, except for self-funded plans and Medicaid. Patients without coverage had to pay 50% up front.
The husband of one the self pay couples was just the nicest guy. He worked 80 hours a week at a carwash, and came to every appointment. It got to the point where he’d make the morning coffee for the waiting room if he got there before the receptionist. Honestly, some of the staff looked down on them because they didnt speak English and were on MCD. I liked them both. He especially- just had a calm, caring way about him.
Around the time I gave my notice, they became pregnant with twins. On my very last day, he came in to pay off the balance of their bill. Thanks to my supervisors error, his more-than-50% deposit was keyed in as full payment for a different treatment, making his balance $0. I took great joy in printing out his ledger and writing “Paid in full” in red marker. 😀
Did the work turn to your satisfaction?😎
I’ve never lucked out on that much, but it has happened twice.
I paid for drivers’ ed for my kid at the local location. Not enough kids signed up, so I needed to re-register for the next town over, and they’d refund the charge for the local location. Well – they refunded me, but they never charged me for the re-registration, so – free drivers’ ed! I kept the money for a long time, thinking that they’d eventually get around to fixing it, but they never did. (And drivers’ ed is stupid expensive here, so I was ultimately okay with it. We paid properly for the second kid, so.)
And then just this last year, I bought my kid an item from Build-A-Bear Workshop – I bought it online. They mailed it out, we got it – and then I wondered why the transaction I’d entered in my financial app never cleared. I checked my credit card directly, and the transaction never showed up. So – free stuffed animal! I mean, that one’s TOTALLY on them, because I couldn’t have ordered it without a credit card, and they couldn’t have shipped it to me without an address, so…
Technically you have paid, just not the amount they asked…..
I don’t know about anything else you said but “upgrade the gals” just took me out 🤣🤣🤣
So … You’ve made a clean breast of it finally.
I had a nose job that was covered by insurance and the surgeon wanted to also do a chin implant. I couldn’t afford that and he said that once the bill for the nose job went through insurance that he would bill me for the additional surgery. He was so insistent that it would improve my appearance i agreed and had both surgeries. That was in 1987 and I never received a bill for the chin surgery.
You’re happy with the gals. But did you get a $10,000 quality job or did you get the $5,000 quality or did you end up with a $500 pair? Not saying you got ripped off or yours look horrible. I’ve been under the impression the Golden ticket for the twin peaks amusement park was 10K even years ago. Sorry boys this is not personal experience And I don’t have man boobs either. But numerous ladies have shared that. Also did work for a pretty popular plastic surgeon. Scars? Natural-esque look? Hopefully not C grade and at least b-grade. Killer deal if they are professional a grade.
Thank the high heavens lol I would not say a word 😂
These kind of things happened a couple times in my life too. I never got charged for my daughter’s senior pics even after reminding them and also I had a medical procedure and since they didn’t bill me for over a year they weren’t allowed to charge me. ( Insurance rule apparently). It is what it is and I don’t feel bad about it.
I worked for a large company that took the Discover card. Who ever was in charge with reconciling that account ( this was in the 90’s) left and no one took over the job. They didn’t know for over a year that customers that used their discover card weren’t actually being charged. They eventually reached out to customers letting them know and some actually realized they were never charged and agreed to let them re-charge but the majority had no idea and the company just had to eat it.
I do mammograms. Just to let you know, many surgeons don’t tell people they will need to get their implants redone after a certain amount of time. They also claim it does not affect imaging looking for breast CA. This is not true. It does reduce the effectiveness of mammograms. Mammogram can detect the earliest signs of CA (calcification) and it’s harder to see these with implants.
Just wanted to warn you. Many people don’t have problems but 1/8 women will get breast CA at some point. If something changes in your breast DO NOT HESITATE. I’ve seen women who noticed dimpling in their skin/ new lumps/ bloody discharge who wait 6 months to a year to come in.
I’ve also seen women who refuse mammograms instead of opting to use ultrasound because it’s more comfortable. I understand mammograms (especially with implants) are very uncomfortable. But only getting breast U/S means you will have to wait until the CA grows into a mass they can see, before we can do anything to help you. It’s very heartbreaking when this happens.
I’m glad you didn’t pay full price.
Girl yes!
This just happened to me on a smaller scale. I was late for a meeting and chose to valet my car for $30 instead of being any later. I came back for my car and they didnt charge me anything. It was a good day!
Years ago we treated ourselves to a brand new fridge. Paid cash, all good. Seven years later the compressor failed and the manufacturer couldn’t get us a replacement, so they decided to refund us the purchase price, and picked up the faulty fridge! So that’s how I got the use of a new fridge for seven years for $0.
The universe has a way of balancing things out…When I got my circumcision, I left a really big tip.
Well ain’t that just the tits.
I might try this 😂
Do you like my rebates?
Some poor dude went in for a face lift and got charged for a pair of tits.
The doctor is just fine, I promise. If it was urgent/needed, you would know. Trust me. When life hands you $500 free tits, make lemonade
Good for you!
How are “the gals” doing after 11 years? Still looking good and you feeling happy about them?
I’d like to counteract your success with a life changing event…..
I paid a £350 deposit for £3500 worth of window shutters (6 window shutters needed replacing, old Edwardian house)…..never came looking for the balance and now a decade on.
At the ripe old age of what I am now, I’d deffo swap you for the perky boobs!!
I had an MRI a couple years ago and they sent me an $1850 bill. I called them and asked them to double check the insurance because, per insurance, I should have had some form of a balance but not that high. My insurance never received a claim and I never got a bill lol. I went and spoke to the people in person and the receptionist lady just told me to chalk it up to good luck lol
With that kind of accounting trouble I’m surprised the company did not go tits up
I’m pretty sure my mom and I once flew for free. Not a cheap flight either but also nothing to complain about. It was really nice because we were also pretty poor (I think she’d helped me move states and I didn’t have anyone so she sorta had to be there but it was an effort). Anyway, she paid by credit card and was never actually charged but the tickets worked. The reason I’m saying I’m pretty sure is mostly because it was not my credit card and my mom isn’t always great at figuring out these things, plus it’s been a very long time and my memory is fuzzy. But I think she’d have noticed if she owed thousands of dollars all of a sudden, and probably would have mentioned it.
I got 3 treatments of laser hair removal on my legs and pits, never paid a dime! The office closed a year or so later
We had a blocked drain, called a plumber and the cost was pretty high but they did a good job. I asked them how do i pay them and they said they would send and invoice.
Weeks goes by, so i called them and they said their accounts team will send it in a couple days, and same thing weeks go by. I call them and they said the same thing, accounts will send soon. I eventually emailed them and got no reply.
I’m very happy to pay, they just need to send their invoice so i can. They just won’t.
Oh same thing happened to me when I had to have my gallbladder out. The doctor did the surgeries for people without insurance and just had them pay 1500. I made the first payment at my checkup, never received a bill like they said so I just waited. I was super poor at the time and had just gotten out of an abusive marriage was living on my own for the first time, I was so grateful cause I really needed that money.
I once got free shoes. They were taking a really long time to arrive and I emailed the company to see whats up. They just immeadietly sent my money back without me asking and the shoes arrived a week later on my doorstep lol.
This happened to me but with a laser hair removal package 😂 basically just paid $60 for 10 sessions. It was their mistake so I just didn’t say anything.
god has favorites lmao
My friend Dan ordered a drum machine back in the days when those items were new and exciting. They sent him two. He gave me the other one and I was so nervous that they would ask for the money for the other one which I didn’t have (never mind the order was in his name and would have been charged to him). At a certain point I gave it back to him because I was sure the drum machine police would find me so made him return it. So stupid. I never made a mistake like that again because that would have been very useful at the time. It was years later when I got one similar for around $650 which was discounted.
This is the greatest story I’ve ever heard! wish mine had cost that much!
I got a utility bill once ( decades ago ) it was like 12.08
I rushed down to the grocery store that was a payment center and handed them cash. I knew they left out a zero. Never caught up to me and it made me happy.
When my parents moved into their second house, the one I was born in, for Xmas they went to A&S to get carpeting for the living room and bedrooms. They had saved and were proud of having a nice home for Xmas. They never got a bill.
“Ain’t nobody got $5000 tiddies like me!”
I love this for you
I had a full ride scholarship to a private college that covered what the VA wouldn’t pay for (yellow ribbon program). At graduation time the college had contributed over $80k
My first semester I received an additional $5,500/semester scholarship since I was classified as a transfer student. I got a notice from the billing office about the scholarship giving me a credit on my statement balance. I explained that I was a VA student and I didn’t need the scholarship. They insisted it was mine.
I then bought the student medical insurance using the scholarship and added my wife to the application. It was roughly $2800 for the year. I then got a letter saying they messed up my application: it was supposed to be $2800 each, but they messed up so they comped my wife’s.
I then get called to the business administration because of overages on my account and they needed to print me a check for the refund. I explained it wasn’t my contribution, please keep the funds. They said it was already processed, please stop by. I got in writing that it was authorized.
A few weeks after cashing the $2,700 check I got a letter from the admin department stating that the scholarship I never applied for and tried to deny and attempted to refund was being rescinded for future semesters.
My final statement at graduation had a $5,500 line item for “write off bad debt”
post pictures or it didn’t happen
Glad you could get this off your chest.
I ordered a ton of Christmas presents online for Target pickup and paid using PayPal. I picked them up and went on my way. About a week later I received a notification that since I hadn’t picked up my items within the timeframe, my order was being canceled. Since I paid with PayPal and they couldn’t refund it that way, here was a Target gift card with my almost $500 refund applied to it.
Apparently whoever handed me my items forgot to actually scan them out. I actually called their customer service line to tell them I had the items (I was worried someone might get in trouble) and the person I talked to said they had no way to scan out my items, and canceling the gift card would cause accounting issues so they just let me keep it, along with my stuff. It was a pretty fun Christmas that year
My husband’s CPAP machine was being rented through insurance from a local medical supply shop. The medical supply shop closed permanently. Insurance claim invoices stopped showing up. The machine is now his, free and clear. And we didn’t have to pay a penny.
Can we see the “gals”? 😁
Nice! I was trying to get a deduction because my gals hurt my back. And they wanted to charge me $9000 and said it wouldn’t be covered by insurance unless I went down to an A cup. 😒
Have you checked your credit? You could easily still have a balance that was sent to collections.
When PlayStation 5s just came out, I used to resell them. I placed an order for 2…but 4 showed up at my door.
Nice! What luck ❤️. I have laser hair removal and something similar happened. After paying like 10% of it my dad started having health issues and caused us some financial strain so I called and asked if I could put it on hold for a while. When I called them back some months later to make things right they told me my balance was paid and I could schedule a touch up whenever 🤷♀️ was very nice to not have to worry about.
When we moved into our new house we splurged for a sleep number mattress. We went to the store and picked the lowest grade split king which was around $7000. The day it got delivered we realized they brought the top of the line most expensive mattress by accident. My husband told the delivery people and they just shrugged their shoulders. Later, my husband called sleep number and they just let it go. They told us to just keep it!
I’ve had this happen a couple times–once with a door replacement and we even called twice to try to pay, and a medical one.
I received a 24 pack of Coke in my Walmart order that wasn’t mine. It was a great day:
Pics or it didn’t happen.
How much did it cost? About free titty.
The doctor probably had some fun while you were under.
Wasn’t anything big, but I ordered a new wifi card for the laptop from Amazon and they sent me a whole box of them. I contacted Amazon and told them what they did, and that if they would credit me for the one I bought they could have the rest back… and that is the story of how my wifi card was free.
Dad ordered a TV from Walmart years ago, and went and picked it up in the store. Never got charged for it. I assume the guy forgot to mark it as picked up and the hold on his card finally just disappeared.
We had a guy come check out our roof and work with our insurance to get it replaced from wind damage. They replaced the roof and about 8 weeks later we got a $4500 check in the mail. We paid nothing and got $4500 🤷♂️
I can only imagine the DM’s OP is getting.
I once received a $300 credit from my grocery store on my credit card, and of course I never asked why it happened or tried to return it. They did end up going out of business later on.
Ordered a $5000 mattress from JC Penney and during shipping they said it was “lost” and were sending a replacement. Well, after the new one was sent the original one arrived. So the second one was cancelled but that cancelled the whole transaction. We tried contacting multiple times and there was no answer about what to do so we just never got charged for it.
Ngl. I only read headline before jumping to profile to see what other posts she might have.
Is this a method?
It’s one thing to just not mention it to them. But Closing the account was a pretty shitty thing to do. People didn’t get paid so that you could feel better about your sex appeal.
I hope they eventually figure it out and come after you for what you owe.
Hello this is the install company we need to see proof of the results
Integrity. Some people have it and some people don’t.
Recently we ordered a new TV through a large electronics store for around $700. On pickup day we drove the hr drive to the nearest store and went to the front desk. I gave him my name and offered him my ID. He declined to see it but radioed back to the warehouse to roll it out for curbside. When they brought it out I noticed the size was right, but instead of the lower end $700 TV they had a top of the line Sony OLED $4500 TV. They wheeled it out and watched as I loaded it up. I went back in the store and wandered around, shopping for other items, thinking surely they would catch their mistake. I ended up leaving and took it home and looked at the tag. It had someone else’s name on it, I guess the guy ordered the same size TV I did and had it for curbside the same day, albeit a lot more expensive TV. I figured they’d just wonder what happened and dig out another TV for him and eat the loss. They didn’t even know who picked it up because they never ID’d me, but willingly rolled it out of the store for me. To my surprise, a week later my card was refunded for the original TV since I had never actually picked it up, so I got a top of the line $4500 TV for free.
When i was young and super broke, i stopped at a different gas station in the area to fill up because they took checks and i needed the extra processing days to get my direct deposit. It burned to the ground that night with my check inside lol.
