My boyfriend (31M) and I (24F) have been dating for almost one year (11 months) and he is very affectionate towards me, he hugs me, kisses me all the time, doesn’t matter if we are alone or with his friends. He is also very caring, very respectful, emotionally mature, he’s so sweet to me.
He told me that he takes this relationship seriously and he shows me that with his actions. He also takes me everywhere he goes, even his friends told me he never took his ex girlfriends to any trips.
Overall everything is wonderful except for this one thing. He hasn’t said “i love you” yet. I know that he doesn’t have a problem with showing affection because he says “i love you” to his mom every time they are hanging up.
I feel that i love him and lately i’ve been holding myself back to say it but i really don’t want to say it first. I know it may sounds childish to some but it’s just the way i am. I like when my man makes the first move. I find it attractive. I don’t think the fact that he hasn’t said it yet is a big problem because I feel his love every day, but I wonder what the reason is.
What is your opinion on this?
TLDR; My boyfriend hasn’t said “i love you” yet and i wonder why

We will never be able to tell you the reason why he doesn’t want to say I love you, it would all be speculation. It is weird as shit though. Talk to him
Maybe he was listening to Something Stupid by Frank Sinatra
