Phoenix
Best: weather October through April
Worst: weather May through September
Philadelphia
Best: The huge variety of unique neighborhoods
Worst: About 75% of those neighborhoods
Texas
Best: It’s Texas, the greatest nation in the country.
Worst: Summer, Hotter than summer, 2nd Summer, politicians. Bigger cities have become insufferably stupid lately too.
I’m from New Hampshire
BEST: Hard to pick — but it’s very safe considered to other states, better public education in the country then most places, and it’s freaking gorgeous. Oh and the no sales tax is great.
WORST: Affordability here is non-existent here. Housing was bad enough before COVID, now it’s laughable. The state is getting incredibly old population wise since young people literally can’t afford to live in the state and it sucks because I don’t want to leave, but I’ve been priced out.
Tehachapi CA
Best: small mountain town, everyone is super nice to you, beautiful scenery.
Worst: California home prices
Central Texas:
Pro: Cheap
Con: Complete shithole, hence being cheap.
Minnesota. Best: winter is freaking awesome. Worst: public transport is largely garbage. TBf, that’s most of the USA though
Henderson, TN:
Best: peaceful, slow town life.
Worst: conservatives, particularly religious zealots.
