I’m physically helping my elderly mother who has mobility issues, eg, uses a cane/walker. Being unable to do physical tasks is part of the aging process–I get that–but it’s difficult to process seeing someone sleep all day.
For guys with senior parents, how do you cope with the change from being active, to doing nothing all day?

Immobility as we age can also be a choice, depending on physical inability, but other than that it comes down to motivation to stay mobile as we age.
Damn, my parents are in their 60s and I’m not ready to see that. They’ve bled themselves dry for me my whole life, obviously I’m gonna do the same, but man, that’s a tough issue to bring up.
