we would have to be taken care of regardless lol if youre a baby then youll have to be taken care of, fed, bathed, etc and when youre older you lose certain bodily functions based on extenuating circumstances which limit your daily functions which would require you to be taken care of as well

The compassionate thing to do is to walk into the woods and be eaten by wolves as soon as you realize you’ve become a permanent burden.
All babies need to be taken care of but there are plenty of very old people who can still take care of themselves until they die.
