Every night it feels like I’ve lived through an entire week, It’s kind of exhausting and it doesn’t feel like rest when i wake up.
Anybody else experience this? And have gotten advice and/or are qualified to give professional advice?
It hasn’t always been like this and doesn’t seem to be the case with any of my peers I’ve spoken too about it. Curious to hear anyone else’s stories or input. Cheers.

Im the same. It sometimes is so bad that I’ll wake up and be like “wait did that really happen or did I dream it”😅
I almost never get dreams if i fap before sleeping. If i don’t for some days i get vivid dreams
Are you taking any antihistamines or any other medication ?
I take melatonin to help me sleep, so lots of times I get really vivid dreams and some seem to last weeks. They don’t usually make me feel tired or exhausted at all though when I wake up, just a bit confused.
There are some reoccurring patterns I have in dreams, such as my teeth falling out, feeling like I’m waking up over and over again, taking an exam even though I don’t go to school anymore, etc. Whenever one of those things happens, my brain knows it’s a dream, and then I have my own imaginary world to play around in until my brain wakes me up.
If this is affecting how you feel during the day and if you feel not rested, I think you should speak to your family doctor. Sleep is very important to your wellbeing.
I just had a vivid dream where Cincinnati blew up and I saw it. Like a cluster of huge skyscrapers tossed into the air. We stood there in shock and then I woke up.
Over-active CNS and disregulated dopamine was my issue it seems… 45yrs of 4k vivid dreams, mostly nightmares, sometimes lucid or continuing in pre sleep or post waking, with real pain sometimes following me into real life.
Turns out ADHD and Autism often come with sleep issues… got on sleeping pills it continued I just went to sleep quicker, got on Ritalin and it stopped within days. I’ll still get the odd dream but there rarely nightmares like being slowly eaten a live etc… more light hearted even fun…
Trauma can do this. Not saying that’s what’s up with you. Just saying.
