What are others seeing with ongoing multi-year IES research grants? Did people get continuation funding this summer? Extensions? Cancellations?
I know a lot of grants were cancelled back in Feb, but I’m curious how the move to this upcoming year has been looking in terms of funding getting continued.

Sorry to inform you but the proposed US Dept of Ed budget for the coming year 2026 has basically zero funding for IES other than assessment because “Over the past decade, the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) has not yielded sufficient returns to students on the billions invested in education research and other IES activities as evidenced by the significant decline in NAEP mathematics and reading scores since 2013.” See https://www.ed.gov/media/document/fiscal-year-2026-budget-summary-110043.pdf
