For context I have ADHD, dyslexia and speech problems. I stutter a lot and use the wrong words very often.
I was asking my husband to pass me something, and I said it in our language. Apparently I used the wrong grammar, and he got mad and said “don’t ever say some stupid shit like that or I will decapitate you”
I jokingly repeated myself and he started looking around aggressively for a weapon. He was about to head to the kitchen when I started yelling calling him insane, because it started scaring me. And he decided in turn he will wipe dust off of something using my towel (which I am very particular about, and had JUST washed), which drove me to the edge.
I am not someone who yells but from the fear and anger I started yelling calling him crazy, to which he did not respond.
I have locked myself in the bathroom and Ive been sitting here crying for about 15 minutes.

Please call a friend over or the sheriff to keep you safe while you pack a bag to go stay somewhere else. Then call a lawyer tomorrow. Do it discreetly – tell your husband you are just staying with someone for a couple of days so you have time to get your affairs in order. If he gets tipped off, he might block your access. A good divorce lawyer will tell you what you need to do next. You cannot stay with a person like this.

Report him to the police as well
This is the precursor to winding up dead. I never comment on these, but this person is severely abusive and mentally unwell. You need to leave, unannounced, and go to a safe space with friends or family. DO NOT give him the heads up, and DO call the police if you’re currently trapped. NOW.
File a police report and be 100% open with EVERYONE who is safe and that you can trust about his behaviors. 100% you’ve already been tolerating abuse. This is his fault, not yours.
