So I go to a community college started on the 14th of August, first and second week, I usually walk pass people ask how they are doing and if they respond I strike up a conversation. I get their numbers/socials but then I am ghosted even when I send a follow up message, ex: Hey, hows it going/good morning/night. Now they do have jobs too but I dont think anyone is that busy. Plus the people that have ghosted me I see them again some times at school, some are even in my class. Maybe im not interesting or likeable. I try to plan things with them to hang out or study. What am I doing wrong?? Now I show up to class late, leave early and go straight home.

Finding friends can be difficult. Attend social gatherings, join clubs. Talk with them, say hello, but don’t bomb them with messages. The people of same interest will come to you naturally, don’t worry. Just always be friendly with everyone and don’t look demanding and pushy to do something.
Give it some time. Be friendly, but perhaps join some social activities where you get to know people through a common interest.

Maybe try to join some clubs or something, they are usually full of people who also want to make friends. Or see what events are going on. Also just keep trying, all it takes is finding the right person/people who are receptive to it, you’re definitely not the only person there trying to make friends.
Join clubs. Community college has people working full time jobs just to pay for college. It will be different than high school. Just be friendly. It takes time. Take an art class or yoga class.
