I was in college when 9/11 happened. My friend Deora was visiting friends in New Jersey & was flying back to SF the morning it happened. She was on United Flight 93, which crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. AMA
Thanks for letting me share. Google Deora Bodley if you’d like to learn more about her.

Do you think 9/11 was preventable?
Where were you at the time and how soon after the plane crashed did you realize your friend was on the flight?
May she rest in peace. 🙏🏻
Sorry for the loss of your friend. It was a rough day for me, too.
Do you believe the story we were told?
I am sorry for the loss
First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m curious looking back on the event now, how do you feel about Americans general attitude towards the day? Some see it as a point of pride for the nation, others a tragic loss, and others maybe go uninterrupted when that day rolls around each year. What do you believe people should retain from this specific point of history? What message? And also, do you see its history misconstrued in anyway you disagree with?
Thank you, I look forward to speaking :p
I’m so sorry. My dad’s friend was in the building when the twin towers were hit, they never even found the body. I guess he was just lucky he probably died quickly.
There’s a flight 93 memorial in union city, have you ever visited it?

My condolences. What were you studying at the time and has that changed because of how the world did?
Did your friend manage to make a phone call while on the plane?
What do you feel about what the USA did in Iraq after 9/11, killing innocent people there too?
It’s been 24 years. Way to milk this
I know this may be a sensitive topic, but given all the theories surrounding the event, I’m curious if you were ever given any confirmation she was really dead? If so, I’m truly sorry for your loss.
Do you ever visit the memorial?
I hope you feel at peace knowing everyone on that flight went down as heroes (excluding the hijackers) for sacrificing themselves
Do you hate Osama Bin Laden?
Do you know Deora’s parents, and are you still friends with the other friend?
I’m curious, what are you hoping to achieve or gain from this post? My brother was in north and one of my best friends was in 7 .
