Like if you’re in a car, you should be able to see the tornado, right? (Lets just say its open air and not a forest). So why not just drive away from it, especially when the weather these days tells you a day or so in advance.
Instead of staying in your house that’s definitely going to be destroyed if the tornado hits, just get in your car and take a 15 minute ride in the opposite direction.
To me it’s like running away from a falling tree in a straight line without looking at where the tree is falling.

We do not possess the magical tornado prediction abilities you’re suggesting. Tornadoes are intrinsically chaotic. We can say broadly that we expect conditions to be right for possibly tornadoes within a very broad area, but we do not possess the capability to tell somebody a day in advance that a tornado is going to hit their house. You can’t just pre-evacuate the entire large area where a tornado may or may not hit and once there’s a tornado on the ground, it is suicidally stupid to try to drive away from it because they change direction unpredictably and are very fast.
