I’ve dated a lot of guys who are generally my type, but no one who fit the mold 100% or was ther epitome of my type. However, I did meet one man in my life who fit the mold and was my ideal partner, except he was 20 years older than me and gay.
Absolutely and then we ended up separating. I tried to change “my type” for years after that and always ended up in boring or super toxic relationships. Then met my husband who was totally different from anyone I ever dated and turns out to be just what I needed.
I did. We were together for 15 years, in the end he was no longer my type because he changed from a kind, loving man to a hateful and emotionally abusive alcoholic.
I don’t think I really have a type, other than being polite, intelligent and close in age to me. I’ve had 3 serious boyfriends in my life and was very attracted to each of them (and of course still am to the one I ended up with), and they are quite different from one another in looks and personality.
Emotionally? I thought so, till we got about a year into it and it turned out they had the emotional intelligence of a walnut when it came to navigating conflict and hurt feelings within a relationship.
Physically, no. I mean, I have been on a dates with a few different men who are my ideal type, but nothing beyond a date or two. Actually dating for any meaningful lengthy of time, no. My only official long term relationship was not my type at all. I was still attracted to them, obviously, but if you asked me to describe my ideal man, they would not be it lol
Yeah, my ex husband. Beautiful man, absolute dumpster fire in terms of being a functioning adult. Also his appearance changed a lot during our marriage anyway.
I didn’t think I had a type before I met my partner but as it turns out my type is just him. If you asked me when I was a little kid to describe my future partner I would have described him. Little me knew what was important in a man, apparently.
Three times. Once in high school (dated for a summer, broke up, now we’re friends), once about a decade ago (got married then divorced), and once about a year-ish ago (still together, having a lovely time).
i dated someone who was the improved ver of my ex fiance. some background info: my ex studied engineering in a reputable university, was working in his father’s business in specific field, came from a wealthy family/background until covid derailed the fam business, drove a BMW.
this guy i went out with studied engineering in a world top 5 uni, was heading his father’s business in the exact same specific field, came from an extremely wealthy background, and drove a BMW as well – but a very upgraded model.
ultimately things did not last with that guy but it was a good experience that healed something within me even though he lovebombed the hell out of me. it led me to starting completely afresh and removed any “what if’s”, and my lovely bf has zero background similarities to these men.
physically though? the lovebombing situationship guy had nothing in common with what i usually go for physically, but my current bf does.

Yes, this weekend. Physically speaking 100% my type.
Yes,just to find out after that he’s a jerk. Then I changed the standard and type lol
Yes, my ex-husband.
Yes and he turned out to be a raging narcissist 😂
I only date people who are my type. I’m only really attracted to a specific person tbh
I’m always curious about people who don’t do this.
Yeah, except for the unethical non-monogamy 😀
Only if we are talking about his face. I was repulsed by his body and his whining.
I married him 🙂
I don’t really have an “epitome” of a type.
Fucked and married him. He’s stuck.
I’ve been seeing a man all year who is the epitome of my type, both physically and intellectually, and I am beyond distracted. Not ok at all 🤣
Yep and he was narcissistic/psychopathic, a cheater and less interesting than he claimed to be. Beautiful hair and eyes, not much else after the fact
Yep. Married him.

Yes, he sucked and I put make excuses for him and justified it because he was “perfect, except for…”
Yes. We’re together and I think he’s the best.
Well, the epitome of my type wouldn’t leave so many crumbs on the counter. But I can live with that.

I seem to have a type, for sure. I didn’t think I did until one day I looked back and.. yup definitely have one lol. Oddly specific, too.

Yes, wished we could’ve worked but dumb circumstances and now he’s no longer living…I’ll miss him forever
Yeah, and I married her.
Yes and I married him and still 10+ years later I sneak peaks at him and admire him. Bonus when I catch him looking similarly at me
Yes a couple of times. Both men had unrelated dealbreakers though

Henry Cavill (facade only) is sadly, unavailable.
I thought I was, but he turned out not to be.
Yes, and he turned out to not be interested in me romantically. Thankfully it was just a few dates, but still disappointing.

Yes, we’re together.
Sort of.
My type mentally. I wrote myself a list three years before I met my now husband when I was in an off phase of my on and off relationship prior.
He filled it to a T
Yes and I still haven’t moved on it’s been over a year

Yes my husband kind of looks like my celebrity crush I guess I have a type
Yep. My type is Beige Man, a guy who looks like he knows how to claim expenses properly. My boyfriend is basically Beige Man Apex Predator. Swoon.
I’ve only dated that
