Hey, all. Other than some earrings and necklaces, I have never owned much jewelry. I’m trying to elevate my style, but feeling a bit overwhelmed by the range of options. Heirloom pieces are not a consideration for me. So I don’t want to spend $1,000+ on a single piece. But I would like jewelry that lasts throughout my life, and suits a dark autumn palette. Ideally 14 karat gold pieces under $300, but I can occasionally splurge more than that if I love the piece. What are your recommendations?

I have a few lower-end pieces from Swarovski that I really love that have been under $250.
I have very sensitive skin and have been gradually replacing all of my cheap stuff with real gold. I’ve bought several pieces from GLDN and Mejuri and have been happy with them. GLDN also has great customer service.
I love Catbird. they have their own line and stock other smaller jewelry brands. I would say there are definitely
pieces in your price range depending on what you’re looking for
Little rooms!
I have a bunch of pieces from Barbosa and get complimented every time I wear them

A few years ago I started jewelry shopping at local family-run businesses near me. I get great customer service and can try things on in the store. Plus nice to support local small biz! You could see if there’s any shops in your area.
I just ordered some earrings and rings from Faris and I love it all! It’s all unique designs
