Appreciate gift ideas for our 4th anniversary. Mid-30s couple with kids.

r/

My wife and I are both terrible gift givers and I’m blanking on what to get her for our anniversary that’s coming up soon. Bring bad at gifting has never been a problem for us. But I want to be thoughtful of what to get her this year. Any ideas on how to make this personal would be greatly appreciated.

I like practical gifts that can be used often and have made a note of things she points out here and there. But those, I feel, are mostly reserved for birthdays and Christmases. We don’t want to splurge much, so jewelry is not something in consideration.

Thank you for your ideas!

You want random internet strangers to give recommendations for personal gifts for someone you’ve been with for years and we have never met?

A babysitter for a couple of hours so she can have some uninterrupted me-time. Maybe go on a date together, or get her a massage appointment or something.

Might as well just get a $10 candle so the gift matches the effort
