Earlier this month I was involved in an accident that did damages to my car by a company truck. The company that owns the truck wants to pay me money instead of me going through insurance.
I did research and came to a reasonable price that they agreed to pay, and told me they would send me a check if I filled out this release form https://i.imgur.com/JAgaDjO.jpeg
They also want a W-9 Form filed out too.
Should I fill those out before they give me the check, or should I wait until I have the check to give them the forms?
Thanks.

What is the benefit to you to not involve insurance?
Who pays you between the company and insurance doesn’t really matter.
A release of liability is common in either scenario.
A W-9 is an absolute no go. https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9
