I’ve recently been my nephews foster mom due to my sister being on drugs. Yesterday she was 21 days sober and the judge gave him back to her with the supervision of DCFS. She is not fit to be a parent and I have plenty of proof as she was homeless the day of her hearing. She was able to convince my aunt to let her stay there since she will now have my nephews check to pay her half of rent. She does not have a job. In court the DCFS case manager did not agree with the judges ruling but ultimately it was his decision. I’m very worried about the safety of my nephew. Is there anything I can do?
