Hi, I’ve been working at this company for over 5 years. During all this time, I’ve been allowed to park in the company’s parking lot without any problems. We even had designated spaces for employees.
Recently, management decided that the parking lot will now be for customers only, and they told us we are no longer allowed to park there. They didn’t provide any alternative options or support, and there aren’t any public or private parking lots nearby. This makes it really difficult for us to get to work.
Another important detail is that this “policy” was only communicated verbally. We haven’t received any written notice, document, or formal communication about this change.
My question is: Is the company fully within its rights to do this, even after allowing us to use the parking lot for so many years? Is there any way to challenge this or request a solution?
Thanks in advance.

We do US and Canadian law here not Honduran law.
BUT:
The chances of any of this being illegal on your employers part or you having a legal way to force them to do what you want are basically nil wherever you are.
NAL but is there adequate parking to accommodate all the employees and guests/customers? If there is then unionizing to force your employer to accommodate employee parking seems like the only viable solution
