So we just had a survey done and realized neighbors have pavers from a driveway expansion and part of their car port built over onto our property. It’s up to 2.5 ft in some areas, which is significant as the yards are very small.
The neighbors refuse to remove their property and have been asking us to”what we’re trying to accomplish”.
Options besides taking it to court? I really really want to put a large boulder on our property next to their driveway, which would make getting in and out of their cars extremely difficult, but don’t want our legal action to be diminished due to this?
Pavers have been there about 3 years and carport about 12. Trying to avoid adverse possession.

You’re trying to not have your property lose a bunch of its value.

I mean that’s what court is for, this exact sort of thing. And you don’t want to lose that property to them permanently.
