Jeff Jackson out of North Carolina …
None. We tend to hate everyone in the other party plus half the politicians in our own party.
Marco Rubio was confirmed as Sec of State unanimously. He was highly respected by all. Pretty sure that’s not true any longer.
Dunno if he’s considered active at this very moment, but Larry Hogan (former MD gov)

Phil Scott might be closest. Just won 74% of the vote in 2024 in Vermont as a Republican. He was first elected in 2016. He’s obviously very moderate to win by so much in Vermont, but he’s faced several primaries over the years (Vermont elects every 2 years for Gov) and has won all of them handedly so Republicans like him too.
They probably like him because he’s single handedly leading a surge in the VT Republican Party. He’s been slowly taking over the party and in 2024 he had the most hand in candidate selection he’s ever had. He finally got a fellow Republican elected Lt Gov, gained 6 seats in the State Senate (to make it 16-13-1), and gained 19 seats in the State House (to make it 87-56-4).
He’s not well known nationally though.
