My little Jack Russell Terrier Rocko, he’s my weakness. He loves to sit with me on my couch and watch me play video games, he barks at the television screen when I’m being attacked by enemies. He’s my best buddy.
I don’t want children but every one of those videos with cute little kids and their parents make my eyes teary. Then I have to resist the urge by remembering that kids are fucking stupid and they will soon turn into teenagers and then edgy young adults who are pains in the ass.
Squirrels make me happy. Whenever I see one on one of my walks I’ll greet him or her and give them a compliment (although it’s usually about their tail because I’m very unoriginal).
The scene at the end of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, when basically the whole town shows up to donate money to keep George from getting arrested. I bawl every time. Tearing up now. Time to play some Dark Souls 2.
I’m jaded as the next Gen-Xer, but I still have a heart. I love to see young couples in love. Babies make me smile. I enjoy seeing puppies and kittens and baby sloths and all the other cute things in the world. My Twitter feed has multiple followed accounts that post nothing but photos of otters or Quokkas in funny poses.
My cat when she lays on my chest and starts pawing at my face so I pet her. Dogs are programmed to like you but cats choose to like you and it makes me feel special seeing how much she loves me
My cat and his brother that passed away. I miss him a lot. I also love watching foster kitten videos on Instagram. Just something about silly 4 week old kittens makes me happy.
My dogs, Jack and Pepper. My grandchildren, 4 and 2. My wife when she asks if I have time to wrestle. 42 years in the books. Cranking high output vehicles and motorcycles. Quiet generousity.
I don’t cry often, but I’ll cry almost every time to Bones in the Ocean. I’ve also cried to I Hope that I Don’t Fall in Love With You by Tom Waits, to Gary Come Home by Stew, to You’ll Never See Them Again by Solace, and a bunch of others.
hearing cars hit those high rpm pulls down the country lane that the house backs onto, when the window or the back door is open on a late summers evening it’s a great sound.
I have recently bought a new 5070, it’s rocking as hell. Like, even if I am a bit like a jaded person or a burnt out one, I still love to see that I am able to evolve my PC build:) Oh, and that stray full white cat what regularly comes to play with us in the flat
Recently had a female coworker come up behind me and whisper that we didn’t have work on a certain day while touching the back of my shoulder. It was like ASMR lmao, my nervous system was like GASP
Sadness, I can’t help shed a tear when someone in a movie has lost absolutely everything and does everything to care for their last companion – their dog. Then the dog passes or leaves. Shattering
Sometimes in life a boy notices a girl that changes everything. Starting from that moment she is the single most important thing in the world to him.
A boy in love will crawl over a mile or barbed wire to be with her; he could spend the rest of his days staring at her beauty as if nothing else in the universe is worth the view. A boy will imagine slaying dragons for her, or single-handedly fighting off hordes of thugs. Whether as an armored knight, or John McClain, the boy will believe his purpose in life is to protect her.
For this boy, the pinnacle of what it means to become a man is to devote his life to this girl. All his other dreams are pursued in vain without her.
And that girl has done nothing to earn or deserve this boy’s adoration. She has his heart simply because it now knows she exists.
But then the boy finds that no matter how much his, still innocent, affections are extended, they are not reciprocated. The boy wonders if he can still win her. Maybe if he doesn’t give up? Maybe if he makes some grand gesture? Maybe if he is more patient? More gentle? More generous? If only she could understand he would give up anything and everything for her.
Yet always the answer is no. The boy is so desperate to give his heart away that he fails to protect it. That’s how the bitterness sneaks in.
By the time the boy is a man some things in him have become hardened, rotten, and dead.
But then sometimes the man notices a girl that changes everything. And he becomes just like the boy all over again.

I cry every time I see a video of people participating in haka. It’s always very touching
Sunsets still do it for me.
The tears of my enemies.

They don’t have heart
Maybe that’s the real punk rock.
