to top it all, there’s a revolution brewing all over the world as poor are more and more connected and unrestful, and what better way for those in power to move the perception to something more “important”, for the lack of better word.

With the exception of the baltic countries and those previously behind the iron curtain, it’s up for debate whether there will be a rallying effort to push back against it or if disinformation will rule the day and strengthen Russian interests with a weaker response.
The US under President Trump (or Vance) will likely retreat further from the conflict and this is something that will go on for a few years.
Finally some good news from 2026. Prices go down, the world gets bored of squabbling and starts to focus on building and working together after the near miss.
ManUfacturing picks up due to cheaper processes, bumper crops and the world becomes more social. There is a collective sigh of relief and even the papers start to post silly and funny stories. Illegal migrants are sent back quickly and a real sense of joy and optimism grows.
Massive swing to the left in voting that is met with deaf ears and denial from limp dick almost-men who will continue to hurt, harm and destroy everything around them to validate their feelings of inadequacy. Nothing will change. Darkness will consume us.
