If a Christian astronaut dies while they’re in space, do they still go to heaven or are they out of bounds?

I’m not aware of any Christian doctrine that dictates boundaries to God’s domain. Many early Christians considered the sky itself to be heaven so I guess in their eyes, an astronaut would already be there.

    They’re already there, aren’t they?

Heaven literally being in the sky is a cultural meme with the Bible making no mention of that

Christian beliefs on the rules of the afterlife are highly varied and have changed a lot over the centuries, but I think the majority of 21st century Christians would think that situation “still counts.”

There’s no doctrine which States your earthly body has to be in any particular location, your soul is what matters

Space is the domain for Cthulhu.

If a Christian is about to die in space, they have to say “Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn”

They can still go to heaven. I see no reason why they wouldn’t.

They still go to heaven. Its not about where you are, its about having faith in Christ. Simple as.

“Heaven” is a VERY subjected term.

Many scholars agree that heaven had been mistranslated for many years and actually meant the sky in old texts
