If they’re close but missing a certain qualification like a certification – go in explaining that you’re working on achieving it and planning on getting it within the next 6 months/year/ whatever is acheivable.
If it’s something like management but you’ve never been a direct manager before, mention how leadership skills have been used in your past – mentoring juniors, community service, etc.
If they’re not close at all, shoot closer when applying to jobs.
And above all, “carry yourself with all the confidence of a mediocre white man.”
My best advice for applying for a job is to read the job description/posting thoroughly and make sure you highlight specific aspects relevant to the posting itself. Look at the words they use to describe what the “ideal hire” would have, and find a way to work the qualities you have into your application.
For example, I see for you it’s about supervisory experience. Do you have any other not work related supervisory experience? Maybe you’ve helped organize volunteers, for example. Even if you don’t, be sure to highlight the qualities about you that would make you a great leader! Even if you don’t have actual experience “leading” people, anyone can be a leader. Perhaps you are a team player with a great attitude. Maybe you’re a fast learner, or eager to learn new things.
Like other comments have said, you gotta pump yourself up, girl. A man would apply for that job with no experience, so can you! Channel your inner most confident self and sell yourself!

I think we need more details. Is it a years of experience mismatch or a skillset mismatch?
Most men apply for jobs even if they only have around 50% of the qualifications.
Women usually tend to only apply if they have 80-90+%.
This results in a lot of mediocre men in leadership. Just apply, go for it! Worst that can happen is they say no. Emphasize how trainable you are.
