I (17F) have been talking to a guy (18M) long-distance for a while. Things were rocky in September, mostly bad days and hardly any communication. I thought we might be over, but a few days ago I sent him a selfie that he saved, and out of nowhere he replied with I love you. We hadn’t really said it to each other before, so this was a huge moment.
After that.. we didn’t talk much besides sending snaps. I sent him a snap of my rabbit, which he loves, and then he unadded me on Snapchat? the only app we usually talk on. This was completely out of nowhere.
The weird part is that after unadding me, he posted a TikTok saying “I miss you”, and it’s the only thing he’s posted. I’m confused because I did nothing wrong, and we had a nearly 200-day Snap streak. I know he’s struggled with mental health and family issues, so I wonder if that’s why he stepped back.
I just don’t know what to do or how to process this. Should I try to reach out to get closure, or just leave it alone?
TL;DR : My long distance partner of 6 months unadded me under a week after saying I love you after the relationship was rocky for a month. Without a warning, an explanation and the fact I’m very confident i did nothing wrong. I was on the only app we talk on too
Also, I know alot of you hate long distance so i just want to say we knew each other irl but started dating after he moved away.
