I have the Apple One subscription, which gives me extra backup storage, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and music. For a while, I was on my ex’s Spotify family plan. They’re the same frickin thing. Their algorithms are both imperfect, they both have all the music I want to hear, etc.
I get roasted on a regular basis for having Apple vs Spotify, but why would I spend an extra $15 a month (or whatever Spotify costs) when I’m getting essentially the same thing included with a service I already pay for?!

Spotify was primitive every time I used it. Apple is so much smoother and plays better with other interfaces.
Spotify is for guys who only listen to bands who are broken up.
I have both too. I find myself using Spotify much much more.
Both are as good as each other, but naturally, Apple Music does integrate better into the iPhone experience. (Even the website version isn’t bad)
FWIW I’m using YouTube music at the moment as its part of youtube premium as I watch a lot of video. The app doesn’t flow and work as nicely. I’d go back to apple music over Spotify for this reason.
