He grew up extremely comfortable, while she had to grind for absolutely everything she has. Because of his family wealth, his parents forced her to sign a prenuptial agreement when they got married. Being a smart businesswoman, she completely understood the need to protect assets and happily made him sign one too.
Early in their marriage, the husband landed a lucrative tech job making over six figures. The wife was just starting her real estate career making a decent salary, but they firmly kept their finances separate. Then the tables completely turned. The husband got laid off, while the wife’s real estate business absolutely exploded. She started selling and fixing houses left and right, completely surpassing his former tech salary by a massive margin.
When the proud wife finally shared her massive new income numbers with her husband, his reaction was completely unhinged.
