ELI5, how come bugs that get digested or decomposed don’t just… fall apart

For example, when a bug gets digested, say a Venus flytrap, or it just rots naturally, all the soft tissue on the bug goes away, leaving the hollowed out exoskeleton behind

With this being the case, what’s holding the soft tissues between the connection points a part of the insect’s body, basically, what stops them from disassembling like a jigsaw puzzle
