They were generally taught to use their right hand and were given right handed equipment. They were not oppressed on the basis of lefthandedness any more than other countries
    Probably less than say Ireland

Left handed people were treated the same as in other countries. The reason, as told to me by my mother’s generation, is because students wrote with ink by dipping the pen into an ink well. Writing left to right with your left hand, had the potential to smear your writing. My mother was from the Netherlands, born during WWII.

The Nazis were not concerned about the dominant hand any more than any other nation at the time. If a child began using their left hand, they were corrected, and trained to use their right hand. My own uncle went through this as a child.

But, which hand a person tried to use did not rise to the level of “racial purity,” That’s what the Nazis wanted. “Pure Aryan people” meant healthy Nordic and Germanic people. Hybrids, such as English or northern French, were a step down but not the horror of the Slavic people in the Nazi way of thinking.

Hitler and the Nazis did not just try to exterminate European Jews. They also went after Roma (“gypsies”). They killed or sterilized the mentally and physically disabled. They also sterilized “mixed-race” people, such as African-Germans, Chinese-Germans or Viet-Germans from the era when the German Empire had sent troops to be station overseas.

Eye color, hair color, left or right hand use, height, etc didn’t matter. Healthy Racial Purity was important.
