I taught the blind and visually impaired assistive technologies for years, you’d be surprised at the technology available that allows them to live a good life comparable to their fully sighted peers.

If you’re worried about your eyes, abstain from sugar, diabetic retinopathy was one of the leading causes of blindness when I worked in the field, diabetes slowly kills your optic nerves.

Considering my eyesight is getting worse and worse, it’s not a real big concern for me.

Accept and enjoy the present, memorize every single thing I see.

Pray that my wife doesn’t go blind at the same time. We need at least one good eye between the two of us.

I would travel the world and see the most beautiful places on Earth. I would also go see every family member and close friends I know.

There’s a documentary by National Geographic on Disney+ called “Blink” about a family traveling the world with their 3 daughters who are soon to go blind from Retinitis Pigmentosa.
