Like yes my bed is right there but oh the carpet π It feels really good on my back and just amazing to stretch out on, and just has that house smell (probs gross if youβre not a carpet enthusiast).

are you a shill for big carpet?
But yes, I’m the same. My place now has no carpet and I miss it. I used to lie on the floor beside the couch cause I loved how it felt
This is kinda dependent on how nice your carpet is. Like the carpet in my house growing up was the very basic and affordable kind. My uncle’s house on the other hand has very lush and expensive carpet and the difference is night and day. Laying on or even just standing on that carpet was a pleasure. Laying on the cheap carpet is only slightly better than laying on tile, wood, plank etc floor.
Yup, and sitting too.
My lounge has 2 sofas and an armchair – but here i am sat on the floor…
Sometimes I come home from walking the dog and I just lie back on the carpet and I feel myself sink backwards into it as my fatigue really comes out and hits me.Β
Somehow the bed doesn’t allow me to get the same feeling.
I love my desk and study corner and all, but carpet studies made all the difference because it actually felt cozy and “grounded”, for lack of a better term.
