Me (M22), I have like 4-5 close friends and about 20-25 casual friends with whom interact on a monthly basis.

I had/(have I guess) 1 close friend, but I haven’t really felt close to them in some time. We talk every once in a while, and this very last hangout was kinda awkward for me and didn’t leave me feeling the best about it when I left them.

As a college senior and almost 22 yo, I’ve noticed that it’s hard making friends when barely anyone knows themselves lol
I find myself to be an extrovert in every social group I’m part of, whether it’s online, at the office, from university, or through courses. Still, I have 10 friends from university that I trust with my life.
But the truth is, numbers don’t mean nothing. What really matters is the bond between you and your circle. I’ve changed my friend group dozens of times since I was younger, and thank God, in the end, I settled down with the best one. I wish everyone the same. Its hard to find real ones nowadays.
I used to be extrovert, kind, and helping. Over the years I have stopped approaching people due to my experiences. Also moving cities every couple of years have made kind of number towards people. So all in all I have 2 friends, both of them live very far. We might meet or not meet but we keep calling each other.
I miss my past self so much. The bubbly, laughing person, who people would like to be friends with. I wish I wasn’t changed at all. I need good friends, with whom I feel at home. They might come in future, I am still hopeful.
I have about 25 friends that I see out in public since we don’t really hang out. I have 2 besties that are amazing.
Sometimes during manic episodes, I separate myself from everyone. Then my group hits zero.
i have about three close friends who don’t know each other, and i don’t talk to them often.
other than that, i make casual friends at school and work but they rarely flesh out into something more before one or both of us leave the class/job

I have about 2-3 close friends that I know in real life but I don’t hang out with them in person as they are terrible. They tend to cancel/forget our hang outs so we often chat online or text each other. Easier that way unless there is an event no one wants to miss.
About 3 close friends and maybe 10 casual friends. It’s gotten a bit harder to make friends after I graduated college so I’m trying to foster the connections I already have.

I have 2 life long friends, we hardly talk, but when we do, no time has come between us. Maybe 5 casual friends, 4 from my dnd group and 1 other. The rest of the people I interact with frequently have been relegated to associates.

I do have a weekly group I go to that’s about 7 people. I talk to 1 of them regularly outside of the group.
I have 2 friends that are my ride or dies, we hang in person multiple times a week. But i have a squadron of about 10-15 people that ive been friends with for about a decade overall (started with 4 of us). That group has a pretty active discord and we gather a couple times a month usually. Theres usually always someone gaming online though
