If you took a pill that made you forget the next 10 mins of your life, would your consciousness magically teleport 10 minutes into the future after taking the pill? Or do you experience everything in those 10 minutes, forget what happened and be in the same state of mind as you were 10 minutes ago?
Comments
What if you died within the 10 mins of taking the pill?
Also, if it were true you forget everything when you die, then how are we experiencing right now if we are going to forget it?
Either way it will feel the same afterwards. Only when there is an external observer or a camera, can you know about those 10 minutes.
Substitute pill with ’14 shots of vodka’. You already have the answer. Experience and forget. Vodka, by default, takes more than 10 minutes away.
Both. It’s called “perspective.”
