Here in Florida, very common. I consider it a variant on chili

I’ve heard that word, and I’m aware it’s food, but I’ve never eaten it or seen it anywhere.

We make it about once a week in the crock pot.

Frozen ground peef, some oregano, collared greens, and some of those noodles.

Have never eaten that in my life.

I’d say these days most people would call it “chili mac”. I’m not a fan at all but some are (I do like chicken paprikash).

Closest thing I’ve had to that was American chop suey, which we had pretty often when I was growing up.

I’ve never heard of this or had it. If I wanted something similar I would just make pasta with meat sauce.

    Very common

I also enjoy fighting Europeans about it online. They get really upset seeing it

My grandmother and mother made “goulash”, in quotes because the ingredients were ground beef, elbow macaroni, and a quart of canned tomatoes. The seasoning was salt and pepper, with Worcestershire sauce at the table.
