Turning 37 this year, is it normal to feel this tired all the time?

r/

My energy level is quite low these days, I can go to bed as soon as I get home from work if I don’t have my martial classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I quit drinking this year as well in hopes that it changes that, is this normal?

Not at 37 man. I’m 52 and only feel tired all the time when I’m eating like shit. Might want to get your blood panel done.

No it isn’t. Go see your doctor

My energy level has gone way down since 34-35 at 37, but nothing has worn me out like chasing my now 3.5 year old.

I would go get checked out. You may be tired because of every day life, but you never know. I am 39 years old and last year I got a cancer screening just to check because of some pains and other problems I was having. Nothing showed up on the cancer screenings or blood tests. I also am getting a colon exam to check it out. If you feel more tired than usual it is probably nothing, but getting a check up is a good idea. The older you are the more likely you are to develop cancer and other problems. Get screenings to find problems early. I like the quote, “A stitch in time saves nine.” It applies to your health too.

I don’t think so. It might be mental exhaustion.

I felt tired all the time in early 30s. Reduced stress, worked out, ate cleaner, lost weight. No booze or drugs, feel better.

I also drink 2 double espressos, one at wake up and one when I get home from work before gym.

I’m going through something very similar. No I don’t think it is normal though.

No, sometimes you feel even more tired.

Nope, 38 used to live off energy drinks and alcohol. Used to be that guy buying monsters in twos bc I just needed that much caffeine to get my engine running.

Now I have a cup of coffee in the morning and I’m wide awake till 1030 or so. Mind you I’m chasing 3 kinds under 6. Work full time, and work out a bit.

Check what you’re eating, if possible ditch fast food and anything that’s more lab chemicals than actual food.

Drink water, layoff the booze try and spend more time outdoors

    Get your test checked

If you drank with any sort of consistency, you probably need a cpap

LOL, at 37? No, it’s not normal. Check.your diet, and get some exercise in your life. A checkup with the doc would also be wise

I’m 37 and I’m exhausted all the time. I think stress and dependents are a big part of that. Cortisol and tension are rough.

At 27 I was much better rested but I had more support, more sleep, limited dependents.

I’m 35 and more energetic than I’ve ever been.

Do you drink caffeine? Is so, when’s your last consumption. I was still doing my coffee all day thing, which uses to work fine, but for whatever reason as I got older the crash started hitting a lot harder

Get your blood work done , you might have deficiencies

I supply my body with multivitamins including D ,B12 , Omega 3-6-9 , Zinc , Magnesium & also drink electrolytes before and after bedtime

Your mind and body is like an engine , it needs the correct fuel.

Eat healthy and get your heart rate up , it does not only make you feel good it also expands your blood vessels and minimises cardiovascular diseases

    Treat yourself right brother

    Get your thyroid checked.

    Yea I’m also like you

It’s normal for people on an insufficient diet. Low-fat + high-carb, for example, is known to drain middle-aged men of all their joys, including *down there*.

Check your Vit.D levels and Thyroid, Usually Thyroid is the culprit when we are tired.
