I live in Australia which is very expensive and there are many advantages to other countries but it’s pretty bloody amazing so I might consider Vietnam because the street food is really good but only for half the year because I’d miss it here
Northern Scandinavia/Finland. Far away from everything, away from the city and people. Just a good internet connection, in the middle of a forest and/or mountains. Or Japan, also away from a city.
Croatia! I get that life is tough there right now with inflation being out of control, but I love everything about Croatia- the culture, the outdoors, the people, the food, the humour and quirkiness… I go 2 or 3 times a year and could quite happily live there.
As an American living in Minnesota, I’d like to move to Texas, or Florida. My wife is holding us up. I have family south and it looks wonderful. Would never move from the USA. My grandpa moved from Poland after ww2. Doesn’t seem too bad there now either
If I had to migrate, it’s probably gonna be between New Zealand and the Scandinavian countries.
I would consider Japan, too, if it meant I’d magically learn the language, but apart from that I’d probably prefer the others.
Also, shoutout to Ireland. Would be in the running as well, even though I really think that in the end it’s gonna come down to New Zealand vs. one of the Scandinavian countries.
