If so, what was it like to go from not having much money to suddenly having good money later in life? Did you suddenly spend a lot or instinctually save a lot? And did the money come from work or elsewhere? Just curious about attitudes towards money from folks who experienced a lot of financial insecurity earlier in life and how it affected their relationship to money later.

A huge career shift through my thirties to early forties has basically added a zero to my income.
Yes absolutely I instinctively saved a lot. Even having got to a point where I have substantial savings, I’m relatively cautious with money compared to my peers.
Progressively unlearning old habits, but it takes a while to really believe this isn’t a glitch.
Also, I cannot emphasize how much the rich are not living in the same world as the poor. I have a cleaner, trainer, PA (personal, not work), etc., all of who save me time I can then use to make more money.
