Will it affect the economy? Will things get cheaper, if everyone just don’t pay any of their bills for one month.
What if everyone on the worl pop stop paying all their bills for one full month?

Nothing
What if your boss stops paying you for a month? Will you work harder?
I say we need to all stop showing up for work for couple months – that’ll hit
They would just you a late fee next month.
The companies I suspect you want to hurt have multiple months of money to hold out on, and know you will be back eventually.
The smaller companies (like 99.9% of the US economy, 46 percent of employees in private sector, 44 percent of revenue) you actually want to survive would die over time or be severely hurt and all that opportunity would go to the bigger ones.
Translation: the big companies would love it if you could do that, please. They could also sick debt collectors on people and shut off your access to things….
Each country would also react differently as most function under different economic systems/goals. In any case, it would throw most economies into danger, not lower prices for anything that matters.
Everyone would get a double bill and a late fee the next month.
Our economy would collapse. Then when recovered, we’d owe more late-interest compounded.
I wouldn’t do that if I was you, that’s gonna go on your permanent record!
Then the receivers and debt collectors would make a killing. The receivers and debt collectors are corrupt enough already, without encouraging them.
These comments are completely unrealistic.
World war would break out within a few days or weeks.
Debt fuels the world. If it all stopped getting paid, everything would fall apart remarkably quickly. There would be no food on shelves, no water available, no medical care, nothing. It would be horrific.
Perhaps you should stop eating for a month. Tell me how that works out.
Lots of late fees
What if dinosaurs just paid the bills for us?
Reflect back to the Covid pandemic. Good indicator
A lot of companies would crash.
So a lot of unemployment.
And not a fast recovery.
Odds are there would be some governments which would collapse.
War would happen.
Prices would go up in the extreme as companies which survived would panic and try to keep enough cash in hand to cover the issue next time.
So your boss stops paying his bill, payroll? How does that affect you?
This is stupid beyond belief.
