Dresses should be common attire for everybody

r/

Sorry if this opinion has been beaten to the ground, but by design, dresses are universally fashionable. They offer enough versatility for any occasion, can fit pretty much any body type, can be made of any material, and are a million times comfier than pants. If we’ve normalized suits for everyone, what’s to say we can’t do the same for dresses?

The only thing I’d change is more pockets, that’s something anyone could benefit from >_<

That’s about all I have to say

The fact that opinions like these are unpopular is saddening

I just wish they’d make dresses designed specifically for men. Because I fully support such things but dresses that are designed for women often just do not look good on some men.

But if they designed dresses for men and women, then anyone could find something that looks amazing regardless of their gender or body.

When people say everyone suffers under the patriarchy this is what they mean. Now it’s weird for men but everyone was wearing togas in Ancient Rome.

I hate dresses, they’re uncomfortable. I need to wear leggings if I’m gonna go anywhere in a dress.

As a woman, I hate dresses. I don’t like anything that blows a breeze up my cooter. No skirts, no dresses. I don’t like the way men look at me in skirts and dresses and I don’t like dressing like a normie woman. I rotate the same 50 band tshirts, 2 pairs of leggings and denim shorts. I own 2 dresses and they’re for weddings. Bought them 10 years ago and wore each maybe 5 times. Hate feminine clothing. Hate wearing the same shit as everyone else from the same shit stores. Frumpy, awful designs and fits. Whomever created female fashion is blind or an asshole lol

Everyone should be socially allowed to wear them, but you won’t catch me dead in one lol they’re fucking uncomfortable and I hate how they make my body look. Suits are exponentially more comfortable
