There is nothing redeeming about sweetcorn it ruins every meal with its taste turning into sweetcorn + dish and the body doesn’t even digest it all so you shit it out. Maybe bbq corn on the cob is the only exception.

ever eat cornbread?
Upvoted for a truly unpopular take on an ingredient that can be absolutely magical in the right contexts
Sorry you had bad corn in the past op
I agree sweet corn is ass. It’s not even a pleasant flavor or consistency.

I find corn in general to be a shitty ingredient. It’s sugary, empty calories, most of it you can’t digest. It barely qualifies as food. About the only form I like it in is as a corn tortilla.
I think people who consider sweet corn a vegetable really just have a sugar addiction. It’s more carb than anything else.
the one thing sweetcorn is good for is to feed ducks. that’s it…
What is “sweetcorn”?
Elote (street corn) is the shit
Sweetcorn is amazing. Have my upvote
Are you just talking about “corn” in general? Or is sweetcorn different from the corn on the cob type of corn?
I agree, corn kernels are shit as an ‘extra’ ingredient. It has to be the star of the dish to be any good
Corn can be great on and in plenty of things, also by itself. Upvote.
Yup that’s unpopular, kudos
you can’t make cornbread without corn and cornbread is delicious.
Ya’ll clearly haven’t had sweetcorn fresh picked from your own garden or a roadside stand
100%. Fresh on the cob or part of the same industry that pushes high fructose corn syrup
Sounds like you just don’t really like sweetcorn. I’m not sure that counts as an opinion.
More for me then!
