I think it was a sitcom but can’t say for sure. The one scene that I remember was that one of the teenage characters (female I believe (I believe the main character)) had some nature of powers. In the scene, she’d rescued people who were in danger (stranded or some sort of accident?) by pretending to walk across a fallen tree/log, but actually hovered across it using said powers. The episode ended in a cliffhanger when the family sees that the news camera caught her hovering.
In my brain, I saw it around the same time as “Out of this World” and “Small Wonder”, but it’s been decades. Any help would be appreciated!

The other show that I remember in that same wing of my memory palace was Mr. Wizard’s World, but same as the others, can’t say for sure they were around that same time

Maybe Free Spirit? The memory of that show randomly just reformed in my mind.
The Tomorrow People? It was originally from the 1970s with a couple of remakes. One of the remakes was in 1992.
