Hello I hope this is a good place to ask, I’ll keep it simple.
About 3-4 years ago I moved into a new neighborhood with my family, our street has a retention pond that geese love to swim and breed in.
It wasn’t a problem when me moved here just a few couples coming and going, but it’s been getting worse with time, more geese show up and more leave every year.
I’ve talked with some of my family about it and one of them almost attacked my brother when he was walking the dog.
Apparently, one of the owners that live on the pond has been taking steps to welcome them.
My question is how can’t I discourage them from returning to terrorize the neighborhood.
For reference I don’t live on the pond and there’s probably six or seven houses sharing it.

The geese run the streets, there’s nothing you can do that won’t make them come back bigger and stronger, you have to move
The geese hung out behind my apartment all winter.
Maybe more than 30! SO MANY!
I had to watch every step everytime I left the house.
The Horror. THE HORROR.
EDIT: are geese edible?
…. something needs to be done….
EDIT 2: I can eat an animal out of spite….
Someone came into the farm store near me to get inflatable snakes. Evidently putting them in the grass helps.
How do I solve my problems with humans? I’m a goose and humans have been invading my habitat.
