I am in no way a coffee consumer but whenever I drink anything with caffeine, everyone starts to look a lot more fuckable and then it puts me straight to sleep. Anyone else experience this too and what are some potential explanation to this. I’m not gonna self diagnose but I just wanna hear your “theories” lol.

INFO: Do you have time to act on the first part before the second part kicks in?
You could have adhd.
My dad’s doctor told him to take some coffee before bed to help his sleep. So it is a known thing for the sleeping part, can’t say for the other.
I would like to add that people with ADHD also interact with caffeine different than others. Same with bipolar I think, I’m not entirely sure though, but am sure about ADHD as I get no effects from caffeine lol
ADHD
I can do this with any energy drink. When I started working night shifts I started drinking redbull and found I have a really good sleep after consuming them!
I think it means you have one of those good problems.
I didn’t get aroused by coffee and other sources of caffeine definitely made me tired. As others have said, you may have ADHD.
ADHD. I discovered it when I was partying in college and attempted to abuse Adderall. It almost brought me to tears when I realized how much I had unknowingly suffered. It was like being in a room with a fan so long that you dont notice it until someone turned the fan off.
That’s actually a strong indicator of ADHD. In simple terms, it means your brain has lower baseline levels of dopamine. Dopamine is the chemical that helps with focus, motivation, and feeling rewarded. When dopamine is low, you constantly crave stimulation or “dopamine hits” just to feel normal, this is why people with ADHD are more prone to addictive behaviors.
Interestingly, when someone with ADHD drinks coffee or an energy drink, it boosts their dopamine to more typical levels. That balance helps them feel calm, focused, or even sleepy, because their brain is finally “at ease.” But for a neurotypical person, who already has balanced dopamine levels, that same drink pushes their dopamine above normal, triggering adrenaline, jitters, or restlessness.
You like coffee
Question sounds a bit loaded. We’re you hoping for a particular answer?
When I was diagnosed with ADHD in the nineties, a doctor told my mom to give me coffee. It worked. Had coffee with my pawpaw every day before school and it made a huge difference. Caffeine still has an opposite effect on me. Something to consider?
ADHD. I fall asleep after I have coffee & take my meds. Crazy
