I listen to alot of music so when my playlists start to feel stale I turn on the smart shuffle feature and I get a huge variety of music that is of a very similar vibe to the playlist I’ve got on. It’s not just a glorified promotional feature for big studios either, I’ve gotten suggested bangers from artists with tiny followings (>1000). I pretty reliably find at least one new song I want on a playlist per smart shuffle session.
It’s wild to me that people complain so much about it, it’s pretty easy to tell when it’s on by the icon. Don’t you all like having the option to find new music with the stuff you’re familiar with mixed in? I always have a great time with smart shuffle on my bike rides, and I’ve even gained an appreciation for songs that I didn’t like before with it.
It seems massively overhated to me tbh.
