When has a dentist ever said that? I think that’s literally just false.

    Spit instead of swallowing.

I’ve never heard any dentist say that. I think someone has been blowing smoke up your garbage chute.

But let’s just say they did for arguments sake; I would imagine they mean for you to let it sit for a minute or two before rinsing, not never rinse. You’ve been walking around with all that nasty stuff in your mouth half the day, what’s a minute more?

You spit out the liquid and then just don’t worry about the rest. The dangerous bacteria on your teeth aren’t generally dangerous in your stomach.

I HAVE had a Dentist tell me this, but only with a prescription toothpaste I was on.  Never was told that about regular tooth paste.

Use alcohol free mouthwash with fluoride.

Why the fuck would you use fluoride? It’s proven fucking poisonous and also calcifies your third eye. Nothing the government gives you or tells you is healthy or good is actually good for your body. Wake up to what you’re putting inside of yourself, maybe brush your teeth with baking soda.

Do you floss before or after brushing ? I like flossing before then brushing over it so the brush gets where the floss cleaned out, but the dentist does it after? What’s up with that ?

Never in my 39 years has a dentist told me this. They just recommend a fluoride mouthwash (ACT) after brushing. Once you rinse with ACT mouthwash you’re not supposed to eat or drink for 30 minutes. Maybe that’s what they are trying to say? Nobody will leave the leftover toothpaste in their mouth…

Don’t use so much toothpaste! You only need a small pea sized amount. Spit it out when done, sorted.

Floss and mouthwash first. This gets rid of all the food bits. Then the toothpaste left behind after brushing will kill the germs of anything else that may have been left behind.

So I’m just supposed to marinate in minty plaque juice and call that dental hygiene?
