DAE randomly get very mild joint pain?

r/

I’ve been getting really random and really mild joint pain since i was like… 10? (I’m currently 21). Mostly in my upper limbs, in my hands: knuckles, fingers, wrist, etc, but also in my lower limbs sometimes. I thought this was completely normal until i asked a friend at college and they said that it had never happened to them? I don’t think it’s of medical concern at all, just want to know if this happens to anyone else!

Also worthy of note, it’s not /that/ painful. Just reaaaaally mild. It does bother me however.

Yes. Always had random aches in my joints. It got really bad around 25 after some chronic stress that basically flipped a switch on my health. Diagnosed with cancer and autoimmune arthritis within a couple of years. It’s suspected that I have more autoimmune disorders, but they aren’t sure what yet. Take care of your health. Eat well. Sleep consistently. Don’t allow yourself to get burned out. It can be a catalyst in your body and life will never be the same

I’m 35, not in the best of health, and I’m currently recovering from a broken shoulder.

No I do not get random joint pain without a reason. It’s worth mentioning to a doctor but I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Um yeah I always get random aches in my body for no reason at all. Last night it was in my hand but most of the time it’ll be in my knee but I’ve had this for as long as I can remember

I have autoimmune conditions and a gluten + sugar + histamine sensitivity that cause intermittent joint pain. My menstrual cycle/hormones also play a part. I’d ask your Dr or go see a rheumatologist. Even if it’s mild, better to catch it now before things potentially get worse (if it’s due to a medical condition). I waited too long to get treatment for mine and things progressed unfortunately

Does the pain come and go or is it always present?

My first thought is arthritis. No, you should not be having regularly painful joints.

That being said, I experience off-and-on joint pain and have no idea why. 33F. Most recently, one of my knuckles was painful to the touch for like two weeks and I thought it’d be like that forever and that was just my new normal, only to just now check it (because of your post) and realize it no longer hurts.

Idk, bodies are weird. But consistent pain is definitely not normal. It’d probably be a good idea to get a checkup with your primary care.
