Salad dressing makes the crisp greens all drenched and soggy. Not to mention all the added calories (aren’t less calories the whole point of salads?). On the other hand, seasonings can still add flavor without all the drawbacks of dressings.

I hate salad personally. Especially ones with Arugula and Baby spinach in them because it is so bitter. Unfortunately, those dark leafy greens are the only types of ‘salad’ that actually provide health benefits.
Drowning the salad in dressing and other unhealthy toppings defeats the purpose, so I end up just bunching up the entire salad into a handful and eat it all at once.
