There hasn’t been a mass casualty event of this magnitude for decades, so there is a general somber tone.

113 dead? Fuck. How many more times does this have to happen around the world before clubs start reinforcing their venues? I feel like I hear some similar news like this at least once a year.

The atmosphere right now is very somber, the government declared three days of national mourning.

Didn’t someone mention there was a minor prior collapse last week and they kinda brushed it off?

Yesterday, my instagram feed was people posting missing pictures. Today is obituaries.

It’s a very sad week. The country is in mourning.

Everyone is sending out their condolences today. There was a glimmer of hope yesterday before the verified numbers, but today has been about grief. It’s nice to see that even when latinos beef with each other, we’re able to come together in our toughest hour.
